Chapter 1
Blame it on my laziness. Glen, my ex Aussie boss, had given me some ideas on how to make a short clip for this “Unexpected Australia” contest. Yet, I just sat on it. Some will describe his plot as “cliché” but I beg to differ as it did strike a chord within me and that was I had always wanted to experience. Somehow he had unearthed my subconscious.
Here is how the story goes.

(Characters: myself aka Sunshine Gal and Jenny aka Lady Jo)
Sunshine Gal and Lady Jo walked into the bar; spotted a cosy area and made their way there. When settled down, Sunshine Gal picked up the wine menu and looked through, trying to decide which wine to chose. After deciding, she then turned to Lady Jo.
Sunshine Gal: I never expect myself to learn to appreciate wine. I was never a great fan and once I even shun it.

Lady Jo: Really? No…You must be kidding.
Sunshine Gal: No… I’m damn serious. For some reasons I still prefer Australia wine and boy am I glad to find this wine bar that serves great Australian wine. Together with it is the great ambience here. I always feel that besides the quality of the wine, the environment plays a very important role. It affects your mood and hence has that sort of magical effect on your taste bud. And that’s why I like coming here. Being a cheese lover, let me tell you this. Different cheese should go with different wine. I’m still exploring on this.
Lady Jo: Hey… You really sound like some kind of expert.
Sunshine Gal: I’m not. I’m just sharing my thoughts only. But I do really wonder how it is like to be enjoying a glass of red wine in the winery, especially the ones in Australia.

Chapter 2
Sunshine Gal is not a name I gave myself. It was conferred to me by many friends of mine. The reason was plain simple. I have a wonderful smile which is like rays of sunshine in the dark. Furthermore, I have a sunny personality. Maybe all these are the end product of being a morning person. I love the sun and I enjoy the morning. The sun seems to be breathing a new life into me everyday.
More than often I wonder how it feels high up the sky in a hot air balloon watching rosy sun rise; letting its tender rays kiss my skin, leaving behind its warmth. The breeze brushes against my checks leaving behind a refreshing feeling. Depending the direction of wind, may I be bought to somewhere to land where I can enjoy a sumptuous breakfast. The thought of it is so exciting. If is really going to happen, I don’t think I want to get out of the balloon until the sun starts scotching me, a gentle reminder that I should be embarking into another journey to have a more fulfilled life.
Chapter 3
I reckon it’s never a sin to bear some dreams. I have far too many and the ones mentioned so far is just touching the surface of my exhaustive list. The ability of realising each and every of it greatly lies within me. However, at times, circumstances are different, such as this. My fate lays in the hands of other individuals.
